Instagram is an iPhone app that enables users to filter photos on their phone and make them look more "retro." I have found an alternative for Android users like myself.

Prompted by my jealousy of iPhone users and their ability to download Instagram, this Android user set out to search for a similar app for Android phones. After searching through several different apps I finally found one that I was content with: FxCamera.

FxCamera enables users to filter photos in five different ways, and there is no account setup like I found in other apps. The app also has color filters such as sepia, negative, and black & white.

I won't say that it duplicates Instagram, and I'm sure Instagram has more advanced features. This is just a simple filtering app for any Android user who yearns to take cool mobile photos like I do.
